Due to the nature of the course and the course content, we reserve the right to refuse applicants whom we deem unsuitable for this course. Telephone or personal interviews may be required prior to your acceptance into this course and no one using recreational drugs on a regular basis can be considered for this course. This includes abuse of alcohol. Those currently taking antidepressants cannot be included as most antidepressants suppress sensitivity.

Notes

Hand-outs also accompany this course and students are free to take notes. A workbook containing notes, guidelines and psychic cleansing and protection methods is given to each student at the start of the course. As the course involves a combination of theory and practice sessions to build your skills, you’ll learn more through doing and listening than through taking notes.

Who is it for?
This inspiring course is for students with little or no experience in the tarot, and confidence in giving readings is encouraged through watching demonstrations and giving readings to fellow students under supervision.

Paul brings the tarot to life with his humorous and insightful delivery, using anecdotes, real life examples and demonstrations.  Bring some questions to ask the cards during the practice sessions.

This introductory course covers

Certification.  A certificate is granted to those who successfully complete written and practical exams. Exams are optional. Who is it for?
This course is designed for those who have completed the introductory tarot course and who want to delve deeper into the tarot. It is suited to those who are in professional practice and this course improves your working knowledge of the tarot in a fun atmosphere. As our teaching methods are quite specific, it is not possible to attend this course until you have completed the introductory tarot course. It also offers telephone reading techniques and a demonstration telephone tarot reading using a speaker-phone. In this way students can hear both sides of the conversation as they watch the reading unfold.

Course content
As this is an advanced course, more emphasis is given to layouts, dealing with clients when reading for them and tips for setting up a successful practice in a changing industry. Also included are:

• a simple 10 step reading process
• how to make sense of Yes / No questions
• learning to know when the Court cards depict people or situations
• a chance to design your own layout, such as a causes / consequences layout or a career / relationship spread.
• demonstrations of the full reading process and how to deal with difficult clients
• the seven main chakras of the body and a chakra layout to read them through the tarot
• how to encourage the client to feel at ease during a reading
• your rights and responsibilities as a reader

Levels 1, 2 and 3 count towards the Tarot Diploma Course to be offered in 2010.  Students must successfully complete Introductory, Advanced and Master Class assessments before being accepted into the diploma course.

Who is it for?
This course is for those who have little or no experience with hand reading, as it covers all the basics in a step by step manner. The mysteries of the hand are revealed through Paul’s dynamic and insightful delivery, and all students hands are used to demonstrate the theories. Students are requested not to wear fingernail polish so that we can examine the ‘moons’ beneath the nails and any nail ridging for confirmation of physical health.

This course is suitable for those who want to understand themselves and those close to them through the study of personality types as shown in the hands. It is also for those who want to know their most suitable career path, parents who want to guide their children towards interests and careers to which they are most suited and those who want to understand natures map of our lives.

Course content
As this is an introductory course, emphasis is given to practice readings, as we examine how the hands reveal our inner natures. This course covers:

• the five basic hand types and their corresponding approaches to life
• how the mounts of the hands reveal the personality types and health concerns

Introduction to Astrology

Who is it for?
This inspiring introduction to astrology is for students with little or no experience in astrology, as all participants are encouraged to read charts in the class under supervision to develop practical skills.

Paul brings astrology to life with his insightful and entertaining delivery. You’ll become familiar with the signs, the planets and how charts are a simplified map of the heavens the moment you were born.

 Up to three chart wheels per student will be included in the course fee so that you can examine your own chart and the charts of those close to you.

Course content
This introductory course offers a simple step by step guide to the signs and the planets. We will use actual charts and students can have up to three chart wheels made up to use for practice readings. This course offers and insight into life through astrology and it covers

• the 12 signs of the zodiac and the spiritual lesson for each sign
• the strengths of each sign
• the negative aspects of each sign
• the planets and how their placement in a chart affects us
• using an ephemeris to determine planetary positions
• a guide to your life’s purpose through the Moon’s Nodes position in your chart
• relationship (synastry) charts and how to read them
• solar charts, which are useful when you don’t have the client’s time of birth

This course is designed for those with minimal meditation experience and is suitable for students who feel that they cannot meditate. Those who fidget during attempts at meditation will also benefit from some of the practical techniques offered in this course.

Five different meditation techniques are offered so that students can select a suitable meditation to pursue throughout their lives. Guided mediation in a group atmosphere often helps students to experience deep meditations for the first time in their lives.

This course is suitable for those who want to use meditation to clear a path in life for the pursuit of their purpose. It is also perfect for those who want to reduce daily stress or to improve their intuition.

The importance of rewards along the way to your long term goals Dealing with your fears, including fear of failure or fear of success Enlisting the help of others in your plans The importance or rewarding those who assist you in your plans Too often talented, creative people who have no support become overwhelmed when faced with continuous obstacles in the path to their desired goals. Frequently these obstacles are the result of actions taken, and objective guidance can make the journey flow more smoothly.

Because a life coach doesn’t do the work for you, those attending this course must be prepared to make real efforts towards their goals. The role of the coach is to show clients how to take their own steps towards fulfilment and independence.

To be a part of this course you will need to

• be prepared to take responsibility for yourself and your actions
• commit to attending all the sessions
• be realistic in your aspirations

A supportive group environment offers you the chance to receive constructive feedback and to observe how others deal with the issues you are facing. Together we can prepare for the challenges ahead.

This course continues one evening per week for ten weeks. This is to enable you to establish your plans and to achieve some results while receiving the support of the group. You’ll be able to test your theories and to bring your issues back to the class for help or simply for fine tuning. Real change takes time, and this course allows you time to map your path, build your confidence and experience some results.

Life Purpose Course

This course offers you a glimpse of your path this lifetime.  It seeks to clarify your purpose and to assist you to become aware of the obstacles you face. acknowledge your innate strengths which can serve you in the pursuit of your purpose. recognise the rewards you can expect when following your life path. be more patient with those you love, as they pursue different paths to you. understand that mastering you lesson can take a whole lifetime, and that you can enjoy the journey as much as the outcome. The Life Purpose course is based on astrology, but requires no knowledge of astrology.  At the beginning of the course you will be given a chart which details each life purpose according to date of birth from 1900 to 2011. Throughout the course you'll be able to examine your own purpose and the paths of those you love.

Understanding the different approaches to life can help to increase your tolerance and understanding of others. You can also better relate to the issues they face in the pursuit of their paths.

Based on Paul's forthcoming book 12 Paths to Fulfilment this course offers insight into your initial understanding of life and the eventual life viewpoint you are likely to embrace.  It also offers tips on making the most of the ten year transition period from one set of beliefs to another.  It is a dynamic and fun filled course offering a 'hands-on' approach to learning.

It is a beginners course, and covers all the basics in a step by step manner. Previous writing experience is not required. This course offers you a supportive environment to discuss your writing plans and the hurdles you face when writing. practical writing exercises to stimulate creativity when you feel stuck insight into how telling stories aloud can help you with the writing process awareness of how much stories are needed to teach, to challenge and to inspire us. tips on who to show your work to during the writing process and who to avoid until the work has been completed publishing avenues available to new and experienced writers, including self publishing                   Most of us have a story to tell, whether it’s about a childhood, a friend, a parent or a family history. Putting that story into a readable form is what this course is about. The course is based on Paul’s experience as an author of ten non-fiction books, one novel, six children’s books (currently being illustrated), numerous columns and short stories. This Creative Writing Course is approached in a practical manner. It includes games, exercises and demonstrations, along with regular writing sessions to enable you to build your confidence in the techniques offered. Students are given written homework to complete between classes to help them to build positive writing habits. Why complete a writing course? Writing takes many forms and requires different skills, according to the type of writing being produced. You may need practical assistance in developing successful writing skills. These skills include Research of a subject, a location or a time period for authenticity. A map of the writing project if it is a lengthy work, to avoid losing your way in the writing of the work A list of the topics to be covered if the work is non-fiction. While some students study with us to start a career in the psychic sciences, others enrol for personal interest.Either way you can expect thorough training in your chosen subject with the option to repeat your preferred course at a discount (subject to terms) if you need to brush up on the subject.Our courses are ‘hands on’ so that you can test run the concepts in a safe and supportive environment. Regular demonstrations are also used as a valuable teaching tool, involving volunteers from the class. Supervised practice sessions are also included to enable students to develop confidence in their new skills.

Cancellations:
Full deposit will be refunded for cancellations up to three weeks before the course commences. Within three weeks of commencement date a $70 cancellation fee applies.

There will be no refunds of course fees for cancellations within five days of course commencement, but you can transfer the course fees (less $70 cancellation fee) to another course within 12 months if you give clear notice at least 48 hours before the course begins.
